Snack Pack Volunteer Opportunity: 10am- 11am (OLGC Warehouse/ volunteer center)
Our Lady of Guadalupe Center 3631 Soldano Blvd. Columbus, OH 43228
Please dress comfortably and wear closed toe shoes as we will be in the warehouse/ volunteer center. Show your Kroger pride!
Agenda:
· 10am- 10:15am OLGC Tour
· 10:15am- 11:00am Volunteer Opportunity & Reflection
Goal: 200 Welcome Back Snack Packs
· 1 Bag of Lays
· 1 Juice Box
· 1 Nutri Grain Bar
· 1 Fruit Snack
· 2 Dum Dum Lollipops
· 2 Stickers
· 1 prayer card
· 1 rosary
Once all items are inside a bag we will seal each bag with love with a “Welcome Back Snack Pack” Sticker
Set Up-
· Create a single file line (with tables) for all above items
· Tape down Signs for each item (Laminated Signs for each item that goes inside Welcome Back Snack Pack)
Quality Control-
· Confirm all items listed above are in each bag
· Confirm that there are 12 Welcome Back Snack Packs in Each Box
Box Duty-
· Create Boxes
· Seal Each Box
· Label Each box with the number of Welcome Back Snack Packs in each box using the signs provided
Tear Down-
· Break down tables
· Take final inventory of completed boxes and how many are in each box
· Organize boxes in the OLGC Volunteer Center where Snack Packs are stored
· Store excess inventory in the OLGC Volunteer Center
· Break down boxes from inventory used to create snack packs
· Wipe down tables and put away tables in the Volunteer Center
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Must wear closed toe shoes.
